Overview

The 976nm Fiber Coupled Laser series covers 25–750 W of fiber-delivered pump power for Yb-doped fiber lasers and amplifiers. Both wavelength-stabilised and broad-spectrum variants are available, so the choice comes down to how tightly your gain medium needs the pump held on the 976 nm absorption peak.

  • Power & fiber — 25–750 W across the series; 105, 135, 200 or 220 µm core, fiber NA 0.22, SMA905 or pigtail output
  • Wavelength-stabilised variants — 975.5–976.5 nm, 0.8 nm FWHM, 0.02 nm/°C drift; stable locking above 5–10 A at 20–24 °C
  • Broad-spectrum variants — 973–979 nm, 5–6 nm FWHM, 0.3–0.4 nm/°C drift, wider spectral tolerance
  • Drive & protection — 48–50% electro-optical efficiency, 1030–1200 nm return-light isolation
  • Cooling — conduction cooled; 20–25 °C coolant temperature required

  • Photoelectric data are referenced to the test conditions stated in each source specification; most source sheets use 25°C.
  • Output power, fiber specifications, connector type, and fiber length can be customized where indicated.
  • Use appropriate electrostatic-discharge protection during transport, storage, and operation.
  • Clean the fiber end face before use and avoid contamination or damage.
  • Operate the laser with a constant-current supply and within the rated current, voltage, and power limits.
  • Provide effective cooling; the source sheets generally recommend a cooling-water temperature of 23-25°C.
  • Avoid direct eye or skin exposure to laser radiation and follow wavelength-appropriate laser-safety procedures.
  • Do not bend the fiber sharply; follow the minimum bend-radius guidance in the applicable source specification.
