Overview

The 808nm Fiber Coupled Laser series covers 25–400 W for Nd:YAG and Nd:YVO₄ pumping, photovoltaic photoluminescence excitation and direct-diode work. 808 nm is the conventional Nd pump line; choose it when broad absorption tolerance matters more than the reduced thermal load of in-band 878.6 or 885 nm pumping.

  • Power & fiber — 25–400 W across eleven models; 105, 135, 200 or 400 µm core, fiber NA 0.22, SMA905 or pigtail output, 1.5 m lead
  • Spectrum — 803–813 nm centre (808 nm typical), 3–5 nm FWHM, 0.3–0.4 nm/°C temperature drift
  • Beam & protection — NA 0.15–0.22 at 95% power, 85% field homogeneity with lens on selected models, 1030–1200 nm return-light isolation
  • Drive — 6–12 A at 5.5–100 V depending on configuration, 40–45% electro-optical efficiency
  • Cooling — conduction cooled; 23–25 °C coolant temperature required

Notes

  • Photoelectric data are referenced to the test conditions stated in each source specification; most source sheets use 25°C.
  • Output power, fiber specifications, connector type, and fiber length can be customized where indicated.
  • Use appropriate electrostatic-discharge protection during transport, storage, and operation.
  • Clean the fiber end face before use and avoid contamination or damage.
  • Operate the laser with a constant-current supply and within the rated current, voltage, and power limits.
  • Provide effective cooling; the source sheets generally recommend a cooling-water temperature of 23-25°C.
