Overview

The 888nm Fiber Coupled Laser series covers 30–270 W of wavelength-locked output for Nd:YVO₄ in-band pumping. At 888 nm the crystal absorbs almost independently of polarisation, which spreads the pump deposition more evenly along the rod than 808 nm pumping does.

  • Power & fiber — 30–270 W across six models; 200 µm core / 220 µm cladding, fiber NA 0.22, SMA905 output, 1.5 m lead
  • Spectrum — 887.3–888.7 nm centre, 1 nm FWHM, 0.02 nm/°C temperature drift
  • Wavelength locking — locked from 30% to 100% of rated power
  • Drive & protection — 13–14 A at 5–42 V depending on power, 47–50% electro-optical efficiency, 1030–1200 nm return-light isolation
  • Cooling — conduction cooled; 20–25 °C coolant temperature required
